A nefarious attempt to lighten the coffers of the Magi Tower was thwarted yesterday when one of our magi found a slaver inside the tower.

The slaver, Am Demina, had just mentioned to Anneliese that the costs of rebuilding the slavers' ship was being met through the capturing and selling of slaves, and through common thievery.

He then broke the lock to the Magi Tower and walked right in.

The mage captured the slaver inside the tower, and then sold him on the auction block to teach him a lesson. He sold for a whopping 666 dinar. His magi mistress kindly gave him half the profits so he could donate it towards ship repairs.

The magi would like to warn the residents in and around Ireem to be wary; slavers appear to be frantically trying to raise the funds to repair their vessel, and are stooping to new lows in this desperation. Lock up your valuables and think twice before inviting slavers into your homes and places of business until that ship is rebuilt!

We would also like to advise the slavers of an obvious, lawful solution to their current problem. Slavers tend to sell for high prices, which any business-minded slaver ought to appreciate.

Any slavers who wish to offer themselves at auction may report to the Magi Tower for capture. We will gladly sell you at auction, and give you half the proceeds.
