"Knights Hill"

I've been told that the Knights have decided to name the hill by the Bedouin camp "Knights Hill", challengers to this title can see the knights, but for now..they claim it as theirs.

Um hasn't that hill has been "claimed" by the undead since before I came around? . . .This will be interesting indeed.

Funny - I've always thought of it as Prey's Point. We do seem to have a better appreciation for that hill's excellent vantage point *grins*

Seraf yesterday clearly stated that he was sorry for invading our hill. He apologized to the bedus in a loud shout.

So... it's a bit strange to see this message after he left with his tail dangling between his legs and with hanging ears. ;)

An historical note on the origin of the disputed hill. Centuries ago, the site was actually a low-lying salt-water wetland. The convenient location caused the Bedu camp and city residents to start dumping their latrine contents, chamber pots, camel droppings, "honey buckets" and other noxious waste in the low-places.

But after generations of dung deposits, the swamp was filled and developed into a high place. As the height of the mound threatened to block the sun from the City of Ireem, an ancestor of the Sultana ordered an end to the dung dumping, and soon a light coating of drifting sand obscured the true nature of the "hill." But essentially, it remains a pile of s***.......but now subject of envy and rivalry.

A mystery remains regarding the current destination for dung-dumps. But perhaps the stench constantly emanating from the entrance to the catacombs......may not be the stench of rotting flesh alone. oqnpnb s d t emondil adn otehr n, dn ioa ..

I would think that would be the top of the mill by the bedu camp, seems there are always prey standing on top of it.

True, the hill is a form of stone known to archeologists as coprolith, usually found as smaller turd-sized artifacts, but aggregated here in Ireem.

Um. . .that's a medical term not an archaeological one, the hill is made of a common material known as limestone. It is the same material the city itself is built on and in fact is the same geological structure.
