While wandering around the castle grounds today, I was slipped a piece of paper..even I have no idea who it came from as they disappeared as suddenly as they handed it to me, but I feel everyone should see this:

- Tre

Dear sister,

It is with great distress that I tell you this; I am locked in the palace harem.

Lancelot, that blasted, winged knight, has followed through on his threats to gift me to the Sultana. I have not spoken to her yet. Her lackey, Olivea, collected me and locked me in this gilded cage. And then left me here, with orders to serve the knight in his bath.

Bathing knights! This is what has become of me!

I hear that Damien does not wish for me to obtain my freedom. I can only imagine what he thinks to gain by me being at the beck and call of the Sultana.

Sister, I warn you... I have the feeling she does not wish to simply punish me for that misbegotten attempt to kidnap her. Nor does she seem to think I would make a proper harem slave (thank Satan for small mercies). And truly, I am too much trouble to try to train as a cook or housemaid, when those kinds of servants are a dinar a dozen.

You must realize, that they have something terrible in store for me to do.

I am no danger, really, in the catacombs. A little trivial mayhem, nothing serious, a killing here or there, maybe a small war or two started. But I am afraid of the destruction that will be created if I am not rescued. Under the control of the palace, who knows what terrible things I will be required to do?

I may be Undead, but even I have limits for what horrors I can stomach.

Sister, if there is any love left in you for me at all, please do what you can to free me.

In horrifying boredom,
You sister,
Anneliese

Earlier today my brother, Silver, and I attempted to free our beloved sister Anneliese. Having seen her in the cages in the hot sun made us both want her free even more so than before. We waited, looking for some way to bribe her back her freedom. In the end we could find no non violent way to go about saving her. So we did the only thing we could think of.

Silver and I attacked all who surrounded our sister as they pulled her toward the palace. Two undead fighting around 6 knights in order to free our sister. The knights Bobo and Lancelot kept Anne gaurded, two formiddable opponents who none of our bretheren dared to fight against. Silver and I attacked without mercy, chasing the party of knights surrounding our beloved sister.

We were outnumbered and we knew it, heading into the city walls to chase after our beloved sister. We were heading to our doom in an effort to save her. Silver and I were split up, he continued after Anneliese, Bobo and Lancelot while I was surrounded by 4 knights all attacking at once. I managed to break free of them only to be persued by the Knight Seraf who continued his assault. Both of us locked in combat while heading away from the city. I had no choice but to flee, I knew that I could be of any use to my sister if I were captured as well.

Silver found me soon afterward and we stood in mourning for our failure. We could not save our sister and now she is captive inside the palace. We have failed you once beloved sister, we shall not fail you again. As soon as the oppurtunity arises Silver and I will save you and bring you home even if we must do it alone.

On more than one occasion, this reporter has noticed Knights sleeping while on guard duty. In a city so fraught with danger, Knights should be ever at the alert. Are the champions of Ireem becoming complacent?

The undead yet speak of their innocence, crying sycophant through their own obsequiousness as the light of truth is shed on their atrocious behaviors. Do not forget, those of both the living and undead. It is not undead that the living must become one day, for that is an unnatural path, but dead. The undead have refused the light of Allah and the eternal peace of death, seeking instead to remain with us as festering monsters, causing pain and suffering to those who still live. Never be deceived into believing that you must become this, lest you lose your soul as the undead already have.

Know in your heart that it cannot be not for love of life that they remain, as surely they are no longer alive and do not wish to exist amicably with the living, but rather a lust for blood, brutality, and terror as can be seen by their actions. Look beyond mere words. If they were truly creatures of honor, would they attack the living who they call weak with such vigor? Would they take part in the same activities that they vilify, horrible as some may be when done by the living? Is this not the same hypocrisy that their rotting maws bellow?

No, the undead are not creatures of honor, but rather of deceit and treachery against Allah, the living, and even themselves for abandoning their souls. Nonetheless, it should not be for us to judge unless they injure. I implore the captor to release the morbid harlequin's sister and leave them to their blighted, empty existence. Surely, eternity will be punishment enough for their transgressions.

What is Tarot?

Tarot is a set of seventy-eight cards, each featuring different symbolic pictures. A standard Tarot deck is made up of 22 cards called the major arcana or trumps, and four suits of 14 cards - similar to playing cards - called the minor arcana or pip cards.

What are Tarot cards used for?

Tarot cards can be used for practical problem-solving, creative visualisation, meditation, self-improvement, as a tool of understanding, for divination and fortune-telling.

Where did Tarot originate?

There are many theories on the origins of Tarot in existence - Ancient Egyptians, gypsies, Atlantis - but historical evidence points to a beginning in the courts of Northern Italy, in the mid fifteenth century.

SLAVER SHIP HEAVILY DAMAGED IN FIRE
DRAMATIC RESCUE OF ONE SLAVE ON BOARD

Though the fire has been quenched, the smoltering embers that was once the ship of the slavers now lies in the dock by the slaver camp. The explosion, which was apparently caused by what appears to have been a compound of saltpeter, sulfur, and carbon, seems to have caused extensive damage to the slaver ship and dock. it is only by a micracle that it did not spread to the slaver camp. Had not for the actions of Selena and Lady Enigma's cries of "fire" no one would have arrived to put out the fire and it might have spread.

Slavers and many other Ireem Residents worked to fight the fire which if it had spread may have reached the city.

It was the Knight Seraf and Selena who bravely rescued the unconscious Delvin from the ship, who had only suffered from burns to her hands, which were treated immediately by the Healer Lady Kerrina. It is believed that it was this slave that set fire to the ship though many believe that she had to have assistance in obtaining the compounds needed to do such a deed. Reports too have come in from anonymous sources that Chris of the Bedu was seen purchasing these same items from an Asian peddler only days earlier. Late last night a guard on the late night watch in the city had spotted Devlin and Chris in the far corner of Ireem. While he could not hear what they discussed he saw the Bedu hand her a wrapped package.

One slaver was heard muttering afterwards "Me Ship Me poor poor Ship"

Sycophants and hypocrites of Ireem... Oath-breaking knights; licentious citizens, lascivious Bedu, corruption is upon you, Hear this voice of the undead...

As you are, we once were... As we are now, YOU will be... It is the ONLY inevitability

isn't it so true that the false, feckless, humans pretend horror at our kind yet wish to take my sisters for their mates?

We may be corpse on the outside YOU are all corrupt, corrupt through to your lust blackened souls

Some think they might be saved, I doubt if any of you have sufficient quality to face the rigours of eternity.

How many knights have you seen continously break their vows of chastity? Lusting after the women of ireem... Selling the people they are sworn to protect like common cattle... Oath breakers all

Doing this, and all the time lying about the honourable character of the undead

They have no shame, cavorting in open sight with their doxies, and humans pander to these latrine-canned oafs like the bleeting sheep which the bedu take to their beds for gratification.

They, and you, pewl about honour while you desport your corruption for all to see.

And, after all this, one day... You will ALL die... beg to be accepted by us

Well !!! My kin and I would not sully the halls of eternity by such chattel as YOU.

RELEASE MY SISTER OR SUFFER FOREVER

PS, You can all kiss my filty, festering rump...

Yours fartingly

The undead Jester.

It is without surprise yet with some sadness that I see the undead have infested even our paper, filling it full of vile propaganda in an attempt to explain their murderous ways. We must not let these bloodthirsty creatures destroy the lives of those we hold dear. We should instead come together as not only a city but as all living and resist these monsters, sending them back to the fiery depths. It may be Magic and Knights who they seek at first, but Citizens, Bedouins, and Slavers could be next, possibly even Djinn. Yet, we should not become creatures of evil ourselves; there is no reason to capture or torture them if we are not ourselves attacked. This reporter believes that it is not Anneliese that wrote the letter, having heard from reliable sources of Kahdoosch's intent to publish just such a blasphemy to Allah. Pray, let Anneliese return to the children she abandoned in her lust for blood.

Life is precious, and the darkness cannot be allowed to swallow it from Ireem. When you look into the shining faces of your children, remember that it is our duty to provide them with a future; it is the undead who wish to take it from them.

I don't know why everyone blames me for the earlier letter which was published in the newspaper. But they do, and so Lancelot is twisting my arm, making me write this stupid letter now.

He wants everyone in Ireem to know that he has taken my sword and broken it. It doesn't matter, it was broken anyway, which is how he could have captured me in the first place. Blasted sword.

I am being held captive by him, and tortured very, very, extremely, horribly badly. Anyone who has ever met him knows what kind of a monster he really is.

He wants you all to know that only reason he holds me captive and tortures me, is because of that stupid letter, which I swear I did not even write!

If there is any kindness in your heart, please send letters to Lancelot, care of this newspaper, begging for .. no, DEMANDING.. my release. If you know me at all, then you can explain all the reasons why I should be let go. I can't think of any right now, but I'm under a lot of stress, as you can imagine.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

With utter sincerity,

Anneliese Wolfenhaut,
Succubus, Undead

P.S. Oh, and he wants you all to know that he plans to fight every undead on sight. And he looked really fierce and scary when he said it, and with a wild, sort of crazy look in his eyes.

P.P.S. Somebody, please remember to feed my half-demon babies. They are in the catacombs. The girl will eat fruit and milk. The boy prefers blood, and try to make it Magi blood, it's easiest on his stomach. Thank you.

It is the sad duty of the Undead Family to inform the citizens of Ireem that the city and sands will be covered in blood, much to our sincere and deep regret.

Our spies in the knights' ranks have informed us that the knights seek help from the weak and pitiful Magi in order to clear the catacombs of any monsters, vampires, zombies, witches, and, let's not forget, succubi.

We are aware that the Magi are normally too busy to be a nuisance, focused as they are on finding a cure for the Magi Malady. (If you don't know what that is, simply ask any unsatisfied former slave of a mage... she will surely have a sad, frustrating, and unfulfilling tale to tell.)

Their swords are of little threat to the powerful Undead Family, however, they do hold knowledge of the only method known to man, of turning an Undead into that detestable and pitiful creature known as "human".

Therefore, we feel a slight tremor of anxiety, and thus are compelled to kill any mage on sight.

We wish to take this opportunity to also announce that any citizen, prey, or predator, who has a fancy for a particular knight, should find the opportunity soon to see their dreams fulfilled. For we will be capturing and auctioning off any knight we can find.

The only exception will be Dream and Lancelot. We will not auction them. They know what lies in store for them instead. Trust us -- it is not pretty.

Kindest regards in this time of general mayhem and murder to all the people of Ireem (except for knights, magi, and any palace personnel who gave them the idea of this terrible alliance).

The Loving Undead Family

P. S. Thank you, Bobo, for all your help.

Andrea, a Royal Palace guard, was attacked and captured by the monstrous undead for no reason. They went on to sell her as a slave. Greed truly knows no bounds for these inhuman, evil creatures. We must seek to abolish their presence from our city, for the good of all in the land.

What is happening to our fair city, that the slavers are now setting fires to the bedu's tents.

It was reported to me that the slaver in question was chased out of the camp twice and still persisted in starting the flames high. The Bedu, Chris Wilder is quoted as saying to me "the bedu are not afraid of slavers tricks."

Is this the beginning of a war between the Bedu and the Slavers?
